![]() Searching the internet for my issue lead me to a single forum post that solved 95% of my problems with my screen (As detailed in the post): viewtopic.php?t=247550 | It's the same model of computer and everything, and even some of the same problems when setting the resolution. I have also tried multiple distros (Lubuntu, Xubuntu, and Manjaro) and they ALL have the same issue. ![]() At first I thought it was with the edition of mint that I've installed, but all editions (MATE, XFCE, Cinnamon, etc) all have the same issue. However, it has gotten very annoying for the past four months of installing mint. This resulted in me having to reduce my screen resolution a little bit to compensate for it. So after installing Linux on this old computer, there's this two inch bar that shows up on the right side of the screen. Hello, I am relatively new to the Linux space, so I don't know how to use Linux 100% just yet.
